Printing tips

Shape templates are the quickest way to get clean, even outlines for crafts, quilting, cake decorating and early math lessons. Print a page, cut along the line and trace it as often as you need. Card stock lasts longer than plain paper if you want a reusable stencil.

To keep a shape at its true size, set the print dialog to 100% or "actual size" rather than "fit to page". Measure one shape with a ruler after printing: if it is a few percent too small, the printer scaled it.
